No matter what you call it, Vail Valley restaurants offer some amazing Happy Hour deals. The best part, after running, biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding or four-wheeling, is that you’ll be ready to sit down, relax and enjoy some nibbles, a glass of wine, beer or hand-crafted cocktail.
Vail Valley happy hour specials are offered randomly throughout the week. Some restaurants have a daily special, others offer great deals mid-week or on the weekends. There are drink specials and food specials. Happy hour is the perfect time to try a new restaurant and a new plate and possibly meet some new pals.
Stop by a Vail restaurant or any restaurant in the Valley for a late-afternoon cocktail or early-evening stop before heading out to a concert or dance. Another term we love here in Vail Valley is “Friday Afternoon Club” or “FAC.” FAC simply means good times in a fun venue, happy hour specials and, many times, even live music. Use local vernacular and call it “après.” We love to après ski, as in sip a cocktail at the base of Vail Mountain and watch skiers, snowboarders, walkers and hikers make their way around the mountain as the sun dapples your skin. Ahhh, bliss.
The beauty of finding a happy hour in the Vail Valley is that it is definitely not a challenge! Vail restaurants, as well as restaurants in every other Valley town, have happy hours and deals frequently, from early in the afternoon (yes, 3 o’clock is the perfect time for a happy hour) to later in the day, say 5 o’clock.
You don’t even need to stay on the ground, so to speak, to enjoy a happy hour here. Take the gondola up Vail Mountain and enjoy all the festivities that are offered there, from happy hour specials to live music, a fire pit, tons of activities and views that are second to none. The kids can run around on top of Vail Mountain while you finally have a chance to sit down and revel in the beauty.
