Mountain bike season is coming! Get ready with workouts incorporate dynamic movements, exercises, and drills aimed at building core stability and balance while continuing to develop strength and endurance. You'll teach your body and mind movement patterns that mimic what your body feels on the bike, making you more confident when you get to the trails!

You've been building your cardiovascular base and developing your overall strength in the gym, and now it's time to get focused. These workouts incorporate dynamic movements, exercises, and drills aimed at building core stability and balance while continuing to develop strength and endurance. You'll teach your body and mind movement patterns that mimic what your body feels on the bike. The more these movements come naturally, the less you have to think about what your body is doing, and the more confident you'll feel on the trails.

Not a mountain biker? No problem! Functional training is beneficial for everyone. We'll use stability balls, Bosu balls and resistance bands to work our entire body and teach our muscles to work together to reinforce proper movement patterns. While some exercises will elevate your heart rate, this is not a high-intensity class, but a great compliment to your overall workout regimen.

This is a 10 week program, weekly on Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm, until April 8th. Trails open on the 15th!
