Eagle Mushroom & Wild Food Festival
The 10th annual mushroom & wild food fest returns this year August 2-4, 2019, bringing notable experts in mushroom and wild food foraging, cuisine, cultivation, preservation, and adventuring to this small Colorado town. This year’s speakers include Larry Evans, Katrina Blair, Ken Kassenbrock, Eugenia Bone, Graham Steinruck, and Trent Blizzard.
The Dusty Boot and the Capitol Theatre will host mushroom and wild food classes Saturday morning, and an identification table and a sauté bar in the late afternoon. Unguided foraging will be free and open to the public.
New this year, the festival offers an expanded opportunity to taste wild mushrooms with a grand 7-Course Wild Dinner, in addition to the popular wild mushroom sauté bar. The Dusty Boot will host the dinner and wine pairing prepared by forager chef Graham Steinruck on Saturday evening, August 3rd.
