The Colorado Grand
The Colorado Grand, a 1,000-mile charity tour for sports cars, traditionally begins and ends in Vail. The event, which attracts about 90 pre-1960 sports and racing cars from around the world, began in 1989 and has so far raised over $5 million for small Colorado charities and communities. Spectators are welcome to watch the cars crossing the finish line at Lion’s Head in Vail. The finish line is on East Lionshead Circle, next to the bus stop. From there, cars will proceed through Lions Head, and there will be an announcer outside Bart & Yeti's. The usual Saturday morning car show will not be held this year.
