Wax Those Skis! Lots of Snow Will Lead Up To Weekend In Vail Valley

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, February 5, 2019

It seems that any time I even think about driving over Vail Pass these days, cycles of snow and wind make me think twice. That's OK because staying in the valley these days is quite all right.

At the time of this writing (February 5), we are facing a substantial winter-storm warning, with up to 18 inches of snow possible. Though this will likely make travel difficult mid-week, weekend skiers will enjoy a new layer of fluffy, white stuff with hopefully more on the way. This is a good weekend to play around Vail and Beaver Creek.

Looking ahead, I'm seeing even more snow coming through in the 10-day forecast. If you're an out-of-towner, start booking your upcoming ski trip now! Head over to EverythingVailValley.com for vacation-rental and hotel ideas.

And with that, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
