Closing Day at Vail Mountain is Sunday, April 21, and what a season it's been! If you remember back to November of last year, Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek opened early due to 4 feet of early season snow. It was the first time in more than a decade that both resorts opened early.
With all the moisture that fell (and keeps falling this spring), I'm excited to see what summer will bring. Hopefully, we'll have fewer fires, a gorgeous wildflower season and lots of water sports. In the meantime, let's enjoy the final days of ski season on our side of Vail Pass.
