Burton U.S. Open Begins On Monday & More Snow On The Way

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, February 19, 2019

Steady snowfall through February means conditions at Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Resort are holding strong. I skied on Sunday and, once I moved away from the holiday crowds, enjoyed packed-powder conditions all over the mountain. The next big snow day predicted is today, so fingers crossed we see a good result.

Keep checking back for the most up-to-date weather predictions here.

With President's Day Weekend and Legacy Days in the rear-view mirror, the next big thing on the books is Burton U.S. Open kicking off on Monday, February 25, and running through Saturday, March 2. We'll not only see the best snowboarders in the world at Vail Mountain, but also spectators will enjoy four nights of free concerts and fun activities for all age levels. Keep reading to learn more.
