Snow Arrives in Vail, Along with Cooler Temperatures & Autumn Events

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, October 9, 2018

Snow arrived across the high country through last weekend and flakes (along with rain at lower elevations) continue to fall all week. This is a great way to kick off pre-ski season. Full disclosure: This wintry weather is really getting me excited and hopeful for the season to come.

Currently the weather forecast through Thursday, October 11, calls for rain and snow across Vail, then snow returns again on Sunday, October 14. Temperatures will hover in the 40s all week, then dip to 34 degrees on Sunday. Click to view the ever-changing 10-day forecast here.

Come on, snow!

With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
