Off Season: The Perfect Time of Year to Relax & Unwind in Colorado's Vail Valley

By Caitlin Row | Wednesday, October 17, 2018

Vail Valley's off season comes in stages. The first part is still warmish, colorful and sunny; then we enter the second phase, when temperatures cool, precipitation hopefully falls and a quieter calendar schedule prevails. It's a beautiful time of year to take a moment to rest, recharge and look ahead to the busy winter season.

After a full week of rain and snowfall, this week will trend a little warmer with temperature highs in the 50s. Saturday is predicted to be totally sunny, and Sunday will be clear as well. I'll certainly be heading outside for some beautiful fall weather. Check out the updated 10-day forecast here.

Even though it's a quieter time of year here, there's still plenty to do. With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
