The beginning of Vail bike season is here!
If you haven't done it already, it's definitely time for a summer tune and maybe even some new gear.
Whether you're local or just visiting for the weekend, it's also handy to know a bike shop is nearby in case of a popped tube or broken chain. (I've already done both this year; just sayin'.)
With that in mind, here's a convenient list of bike shops located across the valley.
Vail Bike Hub
Vail Bike Hub is a full-service bike shop that also offers rentals and demos. Its staff will recommend rides along with rental gear.

Colorado Bike Service
Colorado Bike Service specializes in high-end bike frames, components and accessories for mountain and road bikes. It's also a Santa Cruz dealer (and they just did some good work on my Juliana!). Bike rentals are available here as well.

The Kind Bikes and Skis
The Kind Bikes and Skis has served the valley's cyclist population since 1992. I can personally attest to good service here, and they carry the women's specific bike-short brand Shredly! This full-service bike shop offers rentals as well.
