More Snow On The Way Means You Should Ski This Weekend

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, January 15, 2019

More snow is on the way to Colorado's mountains. That's good news for everyone hitting the slopes this weekend around the Vail Valley.

According to OpenSnow, on Friday, January 18, Vail is earmarked with an alert, with a forecast of 6-plus inches from the previous night and current day. As OpenSnow is my most trusted powder-hound prediction platform, I'm readying for a weekend of fun.

January is a nice time to visit the Vail Valley because it's a little quieter, it's easier to get dinner reservations and the lift lines feel shorter. I highly recommend weekend warriors plan some long weekends to the high country.

With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
