Mark Your Calendar with Top Summer Season Events Around the Vail Valley

Summer is just around the corner, so it's time to start planning your next Vail Valley adventure. Here are the top picks from Vail Valley This Week.

Bonfire Block Party

The annual Bonfire Block Party in downtown Eagle, Colorado, is June 1 and 2. The 2018 musical lineup includes big-name acts like Galactic, The Record Company, Sam Bush and more! This Down Valley festival is big on fun and features local brewer Bonfire Brewing.

GoPro Mountain Games

The GoPro Mountain Games in Vail are scheduled this year for June 7 through 10. The games include competition spanning bikes, dogs, rafting, SUP, photography, climbing, fishing, running, kayaking and lots more. Musical performances, with headliners George Porter Jr. & Runnin Pardners and Chris Robinson Brotherhood, are part of the fun. This event is full of outdoor fun, an expo and even art. Enjoy outdoor yoga, too!

Whistle Pig Vail

Whistle Pig Vail is a brand-new, all-summer-long Mountain Music Series at Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. Well-known rock, pop, bluegrass and country musicians will be booked. Currently booked acts include Dispatch on June 16 and Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters on June 19. Click here for the event calendar. Tickets are on sale now.

Vail Farmers' Market and Art Show

The Vail Farmers' Market and Art Show isn't just about Colorado-grown produce (though it has a lot). It features artisinal vendors selling art, home goods, clothing, jewelry and more. Restaurants set up shop as well. The market happens every Sunday from June 17 through October 7 in Vail Village. Check out all the fun from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Bravo!Vail Music Festival

The Bravo!Vail Music Festival 2018 season runs June 21 through August 2. Enjoy performances by the world's greatest orchestras and soloists. The Philadelphia Orchestra and New York Philharmonic will perform again this year. See the schedule here.
