Pitmaster BBQ & Music Fest is this Weekend in Avon

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, August 14, 2018

It's a big weekend of summer fun around the Vail Valley this week! Not only is there a lot of live music planned around the region, but also Pitmaster BBQ and Music Fest is this Saturday and Sunday, August 18 through 19, at Nottingham Park in Avon. Attendees will enjoy award-winning barbecue and craft beer.

For those planning to spend time outside this weekend, prepare for sunshine and scattered/evening thunderstorms. Dress in layers but don't let weather predictions deter you from enjoying the great outdoors. Rainy weather tends to pass rather quickly and make way for sunshine in the mountains. Temperatures will hover mostly in the 70s. Check back for the most up-to-date 10-day weather forecast.

With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
