Let's Head Into a New Year of Wintertime Fun around the Vail Valley

By Caitlin Row | Monday, December 24, 2018

At the time of this writing, it's Christmas Eve and I'm happily writing as I stare at fluffy snow falling and settling onto tree branches. I predicted last week that it would be a white Christmas around the Vail Valley, and I wasn't disappointed.

With Christmas now in the rearview mirror, I am more than ready to welcome in a New Year. What 2019 brings, who knows. One thing I'm sure of, however, is that the Vail Valley is a great place to be this winter. I hope visitors and locals alike enjoy our fantastic ski conditions and cheerful apres-ski fun.

This weekend's weather will take a dive into super cold temperatures – think teens and 20s. Brrrr. So bundle up if you're heading outside and don't forget your hand-warmers! Click here for the 10-day forecast.

With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week events.
