Well, folks, I just got done taking my first self-driven snowmobile tour with Nova Guides. As an avid skier, snowmobiling was something I did occasionally – sitting on the back while someone else drove it. This time, I took control. Granted, we did the easier trail (Tigiwon Snowmobile Tours, near Minturn), but I was still proud I drove myself this time. If I can do it, you can do it.
The views were expansive, the skies were bluebird and the hot cocoa was tasty. I highly recommend taking a day off from skiing during your next Vail Valley adventure and touring with Nova. Click here to learn more and to book.
This weekend and into the first half of next week would be a good time to try it. Temperatures will hit the 40s this weekend, then cool to high 30s. Predictions point to sunny and clear weather until Friday, December 21, where snow returns to the high country. Click here for the 10-day forecast.
With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
