Hygge Life Offers New Cafe in EagleVail

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, June 11, 2019

EagleVail finally has a coffee shop! Hygge Life, a Scandinavian home-furnishings shop, opened a cozy cafe earlier this month. It's serving a small menu focused on delicious coffee drinks like espresso, cappuccino, macchiato and more.

To celebrate, Hygge Life owners Alexandra and Koen are hosting a cafe grand-opening event on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests will enjoy $1 coffee drinks and treats all day long. They'll also offer coffee by Huckleberry Roasters and baked goods by The Rose.

While the cafe is new, the concept of Hygge Life was founded in 2013 as a blog and then was turned into a shop when the couple moved from Amsterdam to Vail in 2017. The brick-and-mortar store features European home goods inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, or coziness. It's located at 41149 U.S. Highway 6 and is a perfect spot for road-bikers to stop on their way to Minturn.

Here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
