GoPro Mountain Games 2018 Returns to Vail This Weekend!

By Caitlin Row Stoner | Tuesday, June 5, 2018

GoPro Mountain Games Vail returns to the Vail Valley starting Thursday, June 7, and runs the whole weekend. Competition will be held primarily in Vail, while some events will be held throughout the valley as a whole. For example, according to the Vail Daily, the kick-off event (a kayak race) will happen near Red Cliff. Read on for more information about the games below.

Weather this weekend is ideal for the adventure-sports festival! The weekend will offer a lot of sunshine and high temperatures in the 78- to 80-degree range. Click here for the 10-day forecast.

Good weather is supposed to continue into next week, which is good news for the Vail Craft Beer Classic! It kicks off Thursday, June 14, and runs through Father's Day. Click here for more details.

With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
