Try a Flight of Beers at Gore Range Brewery, Then Hit the Town

By Caitlin Row | Thursday, February 23, 2017

Well, the weather is certainly varied heading into the first week of March. Expect sunshine, show showers, wind, sleet and clouds over the next seven days. Pack for the elements and dress in layers. Vail has seen some pretty awesome sunsets lately, so keep your iPhone handy, and be sure to post pics to Instagram with the hashtag #everythingvail. This week's sunset image to the left was provided by @ashley_pearce816.

If you find yourself in need of more or different clothing, then you're in luck. Vail Village, along with shops around the valley, offers a variety of mountain-friendly (and fashionable) outerwear.

Explore Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek terrain, then enjoy Vail Valley's innumerable nightlife options spanning Down Valley, Edwards, Avon, EagleVail, Vail and Vail Village.

Dine Out

Gore Range Brewery in Edwards is a well-loved microbrewery also serving tasty, American-style meals for lunch and dinner. Craft beer spans a variety of styles — lager, stout, brown, dubbel, IPA, red ale, pale ale and more.

I suggest ordering a Brewery Flight for $7. It helps ease an indecisive beer drinker into a number of good options. The flight features five full ounces of any four beers listed on the menu. Additional tasters can be ordered for $1.75. What I love about Gore Range Brewery is the gluten-reduced beer options.

A kids menu, dessert options and sports-viewing options round out the fun at this brewpub.

Try some!
