Celebrate 4th of July All Week Around the Vail Valley

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, July 2, 2019

There's no time for a 4th of July hangover in Vail! The fun goes all week, and really all month if you think about it. Independence Day is the unofficial start to summer busy season in Vail, and that means we are heading into the thick of festival and event season.

Gypsum Daze is coming up July 18 through 20 in Gypsum, Colorado. This down-valley event will feature headliner Scotty McCreery at Lundgren Amphitheater on Saturday, July 20. Tickets are on sale now! A car show, a jalapeno-eating contest and a parade are part of the fun.

Then two weeks of performances commence with Vail Dance Festival July 26 through August 10. Venues are located across the valley, and dance styles range from modern to ballet, along with international flair.

Here are more Vail Valley This Week top picks.
