It may be March, but winter is gearing up in the mountains! Solid powder and packed-powder conditions are regularly reported at our ski resorts, and more snow is on the way. That said, you don't have to be a skier or snowboarder to enjoy all that Vail and Beaver Creek have to offer.
Three destination ice-skating rinks are open to the public: Solaris Ice Rink is found in the heart of Vail Village, the Alderhof Ice Rink is located in Lionshead Village, and Beaver Creek offers its own ice rink in the middle of the village. All are family friendly and are good for beginners! Bundle up and get out there.
With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
