Breakfast Restaurants Near Vail For Your Next Vacation

If you love breakfast (as I do), Vail offers an array of restaurant options perfect for morning indulgence. Here are three picks, courtesy of

12 Vail Road, Vail

Vail's own Vintage is styled after a French brasserie and serves a Champagne brunch daily. It is located next to The Sebastian Hotel.

Start off with a freshly baked croissant (chocolate or plain), then enjoy the Vintage American breakfast (three eggs any style, bacon, local sausage, ham or steak and more!). Order a mimosa or a Champagne float while you're there.

While you're in the area: Stick around to window shop around the village. On Sundays during summer, be sure to check out the Vail Farmers' Market & Art Show

Two Arrows Coffee Company

225 Wall Street, Vail

Two Arrows Coffee Company is locally owned and run right in Vail Village. It's partnered with Root & Flower, a wine bar that takes over the space during the evenings.

Espresso drinks – lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos and cortados – are the main draw. For breakfast, try the avocado toast (challah, citrus avocado spread, watermelon radishes and pea shoots) or the breakfast bowl (chilled quinoa salad, egg, arugula and savory granola).

While you're in the area: Head over to Vail Stables for horseback riding after breakfast. Guided tours last one to two hours.

The Bookworm

295 Main Street, Unit C101, Edwards

The Bookworm in Edwards is an independent bookstore and a cozy cafe. Head over for breakfast and leave with a book!

Start off with a spicy chai or coffee drink, then order a crepe. Want something sweet? The Julia Child is served with Nutella and powdered sugar (you can add strawberries or bananas). Or go savory with the Lonesome Dove (chicken, bacon, cheddar and organic spinach).
