For me, Fourth of July fireworks are a tradition. When they were canceled over the summer due to fire risk, I knew it was the right choice, but I was still a little sad. That's why I'm happy to announce Avon's July in January: Salute to the USA fireworks this Friday, January 25, at Nottingham Park. Keep reading for more details.
I'm also happy to report that snow keeps falling in Colorado's high country! We had a healthy round of storms throughout the week, and more is predicted for Monday. This weekend, weather will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the 30s. A winter like this one is why I feel grateful to live and work in Vail. For all the visitors out there reading this, you are in for a fun weekend of skiing!
And with that, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
