Golden yellow looks good on Vail Valley's numerous aspen groves. Now is the time to enjoy scenic overlooks by foot, bike or car.
I recently enjoyed the stretch of colorful views between Minturn and Leadville on Highway 24. Another fun place to enjoy autumn is the East Lake Creek hiking trail in Edwards.
Temperatures this week continue to cool down with highs spanning low 70s on Thursday, 60s Friday and Saturday, and high 50s on Sunday and Monday. Rain showers are predicted Friday through Sunday. This mix of weather means fall is taking over in the mountains. Snow even fell at higher elevations!
With that in mind, here are my top picks for Vail Valley This Week.
